A two-day flower and music festival will take place in a village near Banbury later this spring.

The Blooms and Tunes event will be held at Duns Tew Church on May 17 and 18 to raise funds for the church and Katharine House Hospice.

Katharine House Hospice, based in Banbury, provides specialist palliative care for adults with an incurable illness across north Oxfordshire and south Northamptonshire.

It supports anyone over the age of 18 who has an advanced life-limiting illness.

The festival will showcase floral arrangements alongside a programme of informal music performances, featuring choirs, soloists, duets, and trios.

Children's activities and a refreshments stall with cakes and savoury snacks will also be available.

The event will run from 10.30am to 4.30pm, with entry priced at £5 for adults and under 16s entering for free.
