Miley Cyrus has retracted her apology over a photoshoot she did with Vanity Fair 10 years ago.

The Hannah Montana child star was pictured as a 15-year-old in a cover for the magazine, including one shot in which she exposed her back while wrapped in a satin sheet.

The New York Post ran the offending picture on the front page of an April 2008 edition, with the headline: “MILEY’S SHAME” and an apology for the Annie Leibovitz picture.

But, 10 years on, Cyrus posted a picture of the cover and retracted her apology, tweeting: “I’M NOT SORRY. F*** YOU #10yearsago.”

The artist captioned one: “Being extra AF! Thanks mom! @tishcyrus”, with another quipping “Sooo Harpers Bazaar”.

At the time, Cyrus apologised for the Vanity Fair photo, saying: “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic,’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.

“I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

Broadcaster Disney added: “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”

The 25-year-old has since had hits with Malibu, We Can’t Stop and Wrecking Ball as she shed her child star image.
