Amongst plenty of debate over whether the event should even take place, WWE returns to Saudi Arabia this weekend for its latest Premium Live Event, Night of Champions.

Taking place from Riyadh's Kingdom Arena, Night of Champions has a pretty stacked card, with it currently standing as a six-match show, which is a slight variation on the five-bout PLEs Paul Levesque tends to put together.

Expected to close out Night of Champions, it's old rivals John Cena and CM Punk going one-on-one for the supposed final time, with the Straight Edge Superstar looking to bring an end to Big Match John's latest, record-breaking reign as the WWE Champion.

In the only other title match announced as of this writing, Jacob Fatu defends his United States Championship against Solo Sikoa. After months of simmering tensions, things finally boiled over between the pair at Money in the Bank a matter of weeks ago, where the Samoan Werewolf stopped Solo from winning the titular men's ladder match.

Elsewhere, the Queen and King of the Ring tournaments come to a conclusion, as Jade Cargill and Asuka battle it out for that Queen gong, and former Legacy buddies Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes look to be crowned King. Of course, the winners of those matches will earn themselves a shot at the respective top title on their brand.

Rounding out the Night of the Champions card, this week's Raw saw GM Adam Pearce grant Rhea Ripley's request to get her hands on Raquel Rodriguez in a street fight, while the issues between Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross will see the two finally locking horns in the squared circle.

Shaping up to be an extremely newsworthy PLE, here's how to watch WWE Night of Champiosn 2025 from wherever you are in the world.

WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Card

- Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross

- United States Championship Match: Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Solo Sikoa

- Street Fight Match: Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez

- Queen of the Ring Final: Asuka vs. Jade Cargill

- King of the Ring Final: Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes

- WWE Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk

As WWE heads to Saudi Arabia for the first time this year, the market leader has put together an extremely interesting card for this Saturday's PLE from Riyadh's Kingdom Arena. From top to bottom, for a wide variety of reasons, each match has their own particular claim to being the most intriguing one of the line-up.

Of course, the biggest match here is John Cena vs. CM Punk, with these long-time rivals having their first one-on-one match for over 12 years. With the roles very much reversed nowadays - Cena as the villain, Punk as the heroic company man - we have Big Match John's WWE Championship on the line, as the Second City Saint looks to be the one to stop Cena's reign of terror and his promise to "ruin" wrestling. Again, this mirrors nicely with the pair's iconic battle at Money in the Bank 2011, where it was the Punker who was threatening to walk out of the company and hold the WWE Title hostage should he defeat Cena for that prize. And that's exactly what the Chicago native did. Now, it's John Cena threatening to take the WWE Championship into retirement with him at the end of the year, and CM Punk is the latest name trying to stop that from happening. On top of that, who knows whether Seth Rollins and his Money in the Bank briefcase may be lurking in the shadows somewhere at Night of Champions...

Away from the main event, we've got the finals of the Queen and King of the Ring tournaments coming to a head at Night of Champions. This week's Raw saw Jade Cargill beat Roxanne Perez to earn herself a spot against Asuka in the Queen of the Ring final, with a win for Jade setting her up for a shot at the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam, whereas a victory for the Empress of Tomorrow would put her in line for Women's World Champion IYO SKY at the patented Biggest Party of the Summer. For the men's, we have the fascinating prospect of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton going at it, with this a match many fans have been eagerly anticipating since the American Nightmare returned to WWE back in 2022. During the early days of Cody's run on the main roster, it was Orton who took him and Ted DiBiase Jr. under his wing to form the Legacy faction. With so much history to play off of, and with the two having been portrayed as close friends on and off screen since that Rhodes return, which man will be standing tall at Night of Champions and have themselves a shot at the WWE Championship come SummerSlam time?

In the aftermath of costing Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank earlier this month, Jacob Fatu now has his one-time leader coming after his United States Championship at Night of Champions. While Solo now has JC Mateo at his side, might we be about to sign the debut of a new 'Bloodline' member? Given how both Hikuleo and Lance A'noia have been under WWE contract for a year or so by now, they're two options to add to Solo's numbers. Then again, it may not be too long before Tama Tonga and/or Tonga Loa are back from injury. Either way, it feels like the fix could be in here, and that the Samoan Werewolf's days as United States Champion could be numbered.

Her Judgment Day partner Liv Morgan may now unfortunately be out injured, but Raquel Rodriguez - with the help of Roxanne Perez - certainly made her mark on this week's Raw, slamming Rhea Ripley through a table after Raquel and Rhea had previously cost each other from progressing in the Queen of the Ring. As such, Mami was quick to demand a street fight with Rodriguez, and Adam Pearce was likewise quick to make that offcial. Given how Rodriguez and Ripley have put on some great, heavy-hitting matches over the years, this one could well be a show-stealer if both ladies have their working boots on.

And speaking of working boots, one person who has been working their backside off to maximise their minutes in recent months is Karrion Kross. With the groundswell of support growing for Karrion, he finally gets his chance in the PLE spotlight. Not just that, but Kross goes up against the ever-great Sami Zayn at Night of Champions, with Sami not only an exceptional dance partner for any wrestler, but also guaranteed to have the Saudi Arabia crowd fully invested in anything and everything he does on Saturday. Karrion Kross fans - and the man himself, for that matter - have been crying out for the former two-time NXT Champion to get an opportunity, and now it's down to Doomsday to put up or shut up in the most high-profile contest of his WWE career since his steel cage match against Drew McIntyre at Crown Jewel 2022.
