      A Laurel County, Kentucky firefighter who died protecting his wife from the recent tornado will be laid to rest next week.Maj. Les Leatherman was among the 19 people killed during last Friday's tornado in Kentucky.Leatherman responded to a fire alarm on Sunshine Hills Road that night.While responding to the fire, the tornado hit and Leatherman used his body to shield his wife.       A Laurel County, Kentucky firefighter who died protecting his wife from the recent tornado will be laid to rest next week.
