(WNDU) - Summer is (almost) here, which means it’s time for festivals, events and fairs galore here in Michiana!

With some help from our reporting partners at The South Bend Tribune, we have a list of events for you and your family to enjoy this summer.

JUNE

Classic Car Cruise-Ins

Essenhaus (240 U.S. 20, Middlebury)

Every Thursday from May-September, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Whether you are a classic car owner or a car enthusiast, this event is for you! Enjoy strolling through the vintage vehicles and comparing makes, models, and memories at this free event! Registering your classic car is completely free as well. For more info, click here.

Mentone Egg Festival

Thursday, June 5, through Saturday, June 7

A celebration of “100 Years of Egg-cellence” featuring live entertainment, games, a parade, car show, a flea market, crafters and food. There will also be a 5K/1-mile walk/1-mile family fitness walk on Saturday. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. at the Mentone Fire Station. Race starts at 8 a.m. with a cost of $25. The festival is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, and 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Cassopolis Beach Bash

Stone Lake Beach

Friday, June 6, at 4 p.m. and Saturday, June 7, at noon

On Friday, enjoy live music from One Man Band Entertainment and Size Matters, eat from the food trucks, imbibe at the beer garden, and at 10 p.m. watch the fireworks over Stone Lake. On Saturday, there will be a vendor market, free kid’s area, live music featuring One Man Band Entertainment and BLAMMO, food trucks, beer garden and a drone show at 10 p.m. over the lake.

DTSB First Fridays

Downtown South Bend

Every Friday through June 27 (plus a special Elkhart Jazz Festival weekend Saturday show) at 7 p.m.

All concerts are free and open to the public. Concert goers enjoy the show from the parking lot. Bring your own chairs and blankets. Beer, wine and soda available for purchase. Food truck will be parked nearby. Concerts will be moved indoors if it rains.

South Bend Architectural Walking Tours

Friday, June 6; Friday, July 4; Friday, Aug. 1; and Friday, Sept. 5, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Tours in June and August begin at the American Trust Company clock, corner of Washington and Michigan streets. Tours in July and September begin at Ambassadors for Christ Church (302 W. “Denver … or Bust!” — A Barbershop Show

John Adams High School Auditorium (808 S. Twyckenham Drive, South Bend)

Saturday, June 7, at 3 p.m.

The chorus will be on a mythical quest to get to the International Barbershop Convention in Denver. Featuring the Valleyaires chorus, local quartets, and special guest quartet “Full Effect.” Afterglow follows with opportunity to meet the quartets and hear more music for another $15. Bike with a Cop

Children and parents are invited to the back parking lot for bike course challenges, slow-speed races an age-group races with troopers. Bike helmets are encouraged but not required.

Robofest in the Plaza

Ironworks Plaza (112 Ironworks Avenue, Mishawaka)

Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mishawaka Robotics team will turn the plaza into a robot battlefield. You’ll also find live 3D printing, Lego build pits, STEM education activities and so much more!

Cars and Motorcycles for a Cause Auto Show

Bashor Children’s Home (62226 County Road 15, Goshen)

Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Admission is free to the public, and vehicle registration is just a $10 donation — with 100% of proceeds directly supporting local children who have experienced abuse or neglect. You’ll also find great food, community spirit and friendly competition.

Fantastic Fishing Derby

Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All those ages 3 to 17 should bring your families, fishing poles and bait to the annual Fantastic Fishing Derby. Awards for first fish, smallest fish, largest fish caught and many others. Cost is $3. Brew at the Zoo

Operation Duck Drop 5

Sunday, June 8, at 10 a.m.

Join your favorite U93 radio personalities for the dropping of 1,000 rubber ducks into the river! The first 93 ducks collected win prizes. After the duck drop, head over to The Lauber (504 E. LaSalle Avenue) for an afternoon of live music, raffles, food and drink specials and a ton of fun! All proceeds will benefit RoofSit 2025 and the prevention of child abuse in St. Joseph County.
