LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A group ran into some fiery trouble while heading home from EDC in Las Vegas.
Peter Bojorquez said the group of friends traveled to Southern Nevada for the annual electronic music festival.
They were returning to their homes in California when the truck and RV they rented for the trip caught fire.
The truck started to slow down near the state line, and after stopping to check the engine, they hit the road again. Moments later, smoke and flames began to shoot from the hood.
"There [were] two propane tanks in between the truck and the trailer, and I was in fear of a gas leak and explosion," Bojorquez told News 3. "So I wanted to get everyone to safety as fast as possible."
Everyone made it out of the vehicle safely, but they lost all of their belongings.
They have set up a GoFundMe page to help cover their expenses.
