Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to Mongolia Presents Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, May 21, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On May 21, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Commonwealth of Australia to Mongolia Leo Zeng presented his Letter of Credence to President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa.

 

President Khurelsukh congratulated Ambassador Leo Zeng on his appointment and noted that Australia is Mongolia’s third neighbor and an important partner in the Indo-Pacific region. Underscoring the importance of expanding relations and cooperation, regularizing the frequency of political dialogue, and working together in economy, trade, and investment, the Head of State of Mongolia expressed confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador would make active and dedicated efforts in these areas.

 

Ambassador Leo Zeng expressed his gratitude to President Khurelsukh and emphasized his commitment to further advancing Mongolia-Australia relations and cooperation that have been developing under the principles of an “Expanded Partnership.”


Mongolia and the Commonwealth of Australia established diplomatic relations on September 15, 1972.
