CINCINNATI (WKRC) - As part of his 21-date summer tour, legendary rocker David Lee Roth will perform in Cincinnati.

The former frontman of Van Halen, now 70, will play at the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati on August 21. Tickets for the event are on sale via Ticketmaster.

Roth, who first gained fame with Van Halen, has enjoyed a successful solo career. His time with the band saw their debut album "Van Halen" achieve diamond status, with subsequent albums reaching platinum. Roth's tenure with Van Halen spanned from 1974 to 1985, with returns in 1996 and from 2006 until the band's breakup in 2020.

He performed his first public concert in more than five years on May 3 at the M3 music festival in Maryland. That set list included hit singles "Panama", "Runnin' with the Devil", "Hot for Teacher" and "Jump."

Roth's tour starts on July 22 in Paso Robles, California.
