An artist who just performed at the annual High Water Festival at North Charleston's Riverfront Park has canceled the rest of the shows of an ongoing tour.

Julien Baker & Torres took the stage on Saturday, April 26 in the Lowcountry. The pair had been on tour less than a week supporting their new joint country album, "Send a Prayer My Way," with more May dates on the schedule.

Baker, who also performs as a solo artist and is one third of indie pop trio boygenius alongside Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers, posted on social media that the decision was not made lightly but was due to health concerns.

"Due to recent events, Julien Baker is prioritizing her well-being and taking time to focus on her health," said the statement posted May 4 on both artists' social media pages. "Therefore, the Julien Baker & Torres 'Send A Prayer My Way' Tour has been canceled. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment this may cause for fans. We deeply appreciate your understanding."

Refunds and ticketing information are said to be provided by the original point of purchase, and the next show now listed on the website is the Green River Festival on June 20.

This comes after the duo canceled a handful of shows due to “one of our key members” sustaining a concussion. It has not been specified who had the concussion.

Baker is 29 years old and put on a soulful yet restrained show at the High Water Festival alongside Torres. Baker was showcasing scars under a pair of overalls from her top surgery earlier this year.

She's been making national headlines since March for the official confirmation of her relationship with boygenius bandmate Dacus, after sparking rumors of the two dating for more than a year.
