Huge food and music festival to take over streets of beautiful Cheshire town this summer

Taking place just outside Greater Manchester, the free series of events will take over the streets of a leafy Cheshire spot

After a successful inaugural event, a free-to-attend festival featuring street food, live music and entertainment is returning. Taking place just outside Greater Manchester, the huge event will take over the streets of a leafy Cheshire village throughout spring and summer.

Wilmslow Street Fest is back in Wilmslow for three more dates in 2025. The family-friendly event will return to Bank Square for three dates. It will return on Friday, April 25th, Friday, June 27, and Friday, August 29 from 5pm until 9pm.


Each date will feature a hand-picked selection of street food vendors offering everything from sizzling Asian street food to fresh Mediterranean dishes.

Families can also expect entertainment with street acts including a bubbleologist and stilt walkers, alongside a line-up of live performances.

Talking of the event, Verity Le Chapois of the Wilmslow BID board and events focus group said: "We’re so excited to collaborate with Market Co. again to bring Wilmslow Street Fest back for 2025. These events are all about showcasing Wilmslow at its best - live music, great food and an unbeatable community vibe.

"Street Fest offers something for everyone, whether you're a foodie looking to try something new, a music lover eager to hear live music from talented performers, or you’re simply looking for a great night out with friends and family.

“We’re hoping to build on the success of last year’s events and make them bigger and more successful than ever. Entry is free - bring your friends and family and join us in Bank Square for a fantastic celebration in the heart of Wilmslow."

For the first event at the end of April, food options will include Jamaican delicacies from Hungry Little Critters, a delicious Cheeky Swine Hog Roast, plus Thai specials from The Thai Food Van, and mouthwatering American style brisket from Brisket Shack.

They'll be joined by The Little Kitchen serving up burgers, pasties from Taste of Cornwall, slices from Oh Pizza, dirty fries from Giz A Chip and perfectly cooked Chinese style D'Vine Dumplings.

For those with a sweeter tooth, there will be crepes from Flippen Good and ice cream from Gingers Comfort Emporium, plus a selection of beer, wine, cocktails and spirits served at Tapas Bar and Vintro Bar.

The event is organised by Market Co. in association with Wilmslow’s Way Better, which is funded through the Wilmslow BID and aims to develop the town centre business district and drive footfall to local businesses through improved marketing and a new programme of events and activities to animate the town centre.
