United for Palestine: Regional Leaders Discuss Peace in Middle East

His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the Ministerial Meeting on the Implementation of the Two-State Solution and Lasting Peace in the Middle East, held in Antalya, Türkiye, at the invitation of the Turkish government.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Mr. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, and attended by the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Arab Republic of Egypt, United Arab Emirates, State of Qatar, State of Palestine, Republic of Indonesia, Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as representatives from the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Ireland, the Kingdom of Norway, the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of Slovenia, the European Union, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, and the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The meeting discussed ongoing efforts by participating countries to advance the two-state solution and reach a just and sustainable resolution to the Palestinian issue, in accordance with international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative. It also focused on continuing efforts to rally international support for reinvigorating the peace process in the Middle East, as well as reviewing recent developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and steps toward the full implementation of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
Mr. Bassam Ahmed Marzooq, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Türkiye, also attended the meeting.
