Game over. After winning a close first half and then dominating the second half, the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the San Antonio Spurs at home. 122-117

The last quarter of the night begins in Los Angeles. The Clippers will look to keep the lead against the Spurs who knew how to be superior, but who lowered the level in the last minutes.  

The third quarter is over. With a difference of just over ten points, the Clippers will look to close the night with a win against a Spurs that will not give up. 91-78
 

He does not want the story to be liquidated. Spurs are clinging tooth and claw to the scoreboard and preventing the difference from being too much. Three-pointer by Castle for the visitors. 84-74
 

Reacted just in time. A little burst from the Spurs shortened the difference, but Bogdanovic's double-double came to give the Clippers peace of mind. 80-71
 

A flurry from the visitors looking to close the gap on the scoreboard. A point from Castle, two from Vassell and two from Barnes for the Spurs to increase the numbers. 74-63
 

Keeps up the intensity and gives no respite to the Spurs who are looking to close the gap and can't. In the last two minutes there were 11 points for the Clippers, compared to six for the visitors. 74-58

More than ten points separate the home team from the Spurs. Jones Jr.'s recent double-double made it a 12-point difference. 67-55.   

The first blow is for the home side looking to stretch the lead and play without complexity the last half of the night. Double by Powell for the Clippers. 56-52

The third quarter began. After a very tight first half, but with the Clippers holding a partial lead, the Spurs will look to turn the score around.

The first half is over. What was a difference of just two points for the 54-52in the first quarter, was very changeable and intense in the second, but it held up. 54-52

Now the home side takes the lead and looks to defend this advantage before going into the break. Dunn's triple and Harden's double double made the Clippers take the lead. 50-49

The home team cuts the deficit before the break. Jones Jr.'s double and the free throw made that only two units separated them. 45-47.       

Pulls away in the face of pressure from the home side. The Spurs still have the lead on the scoreboard, but the Clippers don't want to lose their footing. Double by Vassell to pull away. 40-43

The visitors take the lead after several minutes with the Clippers' partial win. Double by Jhonson and triple by Champagnie to take the lead. 38-39

Spurs close in as they look to retake the lead and get on top on the scoreboard. Three pointer by Barnes that leaves them one point behind the Clippers. 35-34

He wants to turn it around and so strikes the first blow to tie it. The Spurs started in a good way and, with Johnson's double-double, the story is tied at the start. 28-28

The second quarter of the night begins. The Spurs, who knew how to be up on the scoreboard, will seek to regain that control on the scoreboard against the Clippers who will defend the small difference.

First quarter ended. Despite the efforts of both teams to stay with the partial lead in this beginning, the win is going to the Clippers. 28-26.          

Exciting end. The first quarter ends with a very close and changing score. The Clippers had regained the lead for a few seconds, then the Spurs' dominance returned and now, again, it's for the locals. 24-22

The visitors take the lead and pull away at the end of the first quarter. Nine consecutive points for the Spurs who started down on the scoreboard and now holds a small difference. 16-20

Close again and the gap is still short between the two teams. Double by Biyomo for the Spurs looking to even it up before the end. 16-13  

The home side reacts and pulls away a bit after the Spurs' moment of intensity. Double by Harden and triple by Powell to stretch the lead. 14-8

The visitor gives you no respite. After a very good start by the Clippers, the Spurs' points came and they got very close on the scoreboard. Barnes' three-pointer. 9-8

The first blow of the night came and it was for the local team, who will be looking to consolidate their position in the top positions. Double by Zubac for the Clippers in the beginning of the game. 2-0

In the 23/24 campaign, the Spurs did not perform well either and finished fourteenth in the Western Conference standings and twenty-sixth overall with a 22-60 record.   

In the 23/24 campaign, the Clippers went straight into the playoffs after finishing sixth in the Western Conference regular season and fifth overall with a 51-31 record.

The last meeting was on January 29, 2025 and, in San Antonio, the visitors won 128-116.

After trying to get out of the bottom of the standings, the Spurs will try to get into the play-in zone in games against Warriors, Suns and Raptors.   

After this important game to stay in the Western Conference standings, the Clippers will close the regular season against the Rockets, Kings and Warriors.
