A spokesperson said: "Our opening hours over the Easter period vary by location, so we advise customers to check their local store opening times on our store locator.
"This is also the best place to check for Petrol Filling Station opening times, as these can vary from main store opening hours."
On its website, Tesco stated: "Our store locator is a useful tool which can show you the following information: your nearest store or Tesco petrol station, your nearest Tesco Pharmacy, store address, store opening hours, store facilities, facility opening hours.
"To find out about the facilities at a store near you, go to the store locator page and enter your postcode/town/city. To search for specific facilities, use the 'Filter your search' options. Then select 'Search' and go to the store details you want to look at."
"Free parking is available in most stores but time is limited to a maximum stay, depending on where the store is," Tesco said. "Where there is a maximum parking time, our car parks have signs which clearly display the terms and conditions of using the car park, including the maximum stay time. This time limit should also be shown on a sign at the entrance.
"For car parks operated by APCOA and Horizon Parking, the Parking Charge Notice for overstay is £70, which will be reduced to £40 if paid within 14 days.
"Where the signage displays the Parking Charge Notice for overstay at £100, this will be reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days."
