There was Donegal delight at Tallaght Stadium as both Amber Barrett and Anna Patten scored in the Republic of Ireland beat Greece 2-1 in the UEFA Women's Nations League B.
Barrett, a native of Milford, scored in Friday's 4-0 win over the same opposition and opened the scoring in Dublin from the penalty spot on nine minutes, although the contact on Leanne Kiernan came outside the area. It was the Belgian Super League club Standard Liège striker's ninth international goal in her 51st cap. Patten headed home Ireland's second in the 50th minute.

However, 18 minutes from time Veatriki Sarri of Greece finished well past her Everton teammate Courtney Brosnan but Ireland held on to post their third win from four, having opened with a 1-0 win over Turkey before losing 4-0 in Slovenia. Ireland travel to Turkey for their penultimate fixture on May 30 and then face Slovenia at home on June 3.
Tyler Toland from St Johnston, who plays for Blackburn Rovers, started in midfield for Ireland, while Patten qualifies for Ireland through her maternal grandparents - Donald Coyle, a native of Falcarragh and Bridie Coyle, nee Conroy, from Lettermore in Galway.
