We are learning more about the colorful, patriotic outfit Kid Rock wore in the Oval Office at the White House when he helped President Trump sign an executive order.

Rock was invited to the Oval Office on March 31 as the President signed the order which he says will help curb secondhand ticket sale price gouging and bring “commonsense” changes to the way live events are priced.

The tailor behind Rock’s outfit is 91-year old Manuel Cuevas, according to both Rolling Stone and Women’s Wear Daily. Cuevas is known for creating one-of-a-kind outfits for some of history’s biggest music acts.

And he apparently isn’t slowing down as he turns 92 later this month. WWD reports Cuevas works 12 to 14 hours a day, seven days a week, from his studio near Nashville.

“I just love what I do. I don’t become a tyrant or a giant or Superman. I just say, Well, thank God I got through this. I’m happy if people are happy,” he told WWD.

The publication adds that Rock lost some weight, so when Rock asked Cuevas over to his home to alter some of his clothes, he asked him to make two suits.

The White House outfit reportedly cost more than $20,000. “People make a big thing about this stuff. I go and hide and go work for my next client. In fact, I’ve had a lot of clients, since I started this business.”

Some of those clients, according to WWD, have included Dolly Parton, Lady Gaga, John Lennon, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and a host of others.

Cuevas’ wife told Rolling Stone her husband had to make the Oval Office outfit pretty quickly. “It was an urgent order, and we only had three weeks to make it.”

Kid Rock is currently on a small tour. He’s had a handful of shows in March with more this month, including one on Friday in Oklahoma with Uncle Kracker.

Rock is also bringing a two-day music festival to 10 small cities, including Hastings, MI (June 14), with Nickelback, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Travis Tritt, Big and Rich and more.
