The accident, which happened just before 8am, left two people injured as they began their holidays.

The crash took place between Kopstal and Mamer, on the CR101 road, where two cars – one registered in Luxembourg and the other in France – collided violently, with one impacted at the front and the other on the side. A third vehicle was also involved and subsequently veered off the road.

According to police information gathered by RTL, two individuals were injured, with one sustaining more serious injuries. The road was closed to allow emergency services to respond to the scene.
