Complete 2025 summer concert schedule for Stone Pony, PNC and MetLife Stadium

  • Beyonce plays five shows at MetLife Stadium in May.
  • Among acts coming to PNC: Halsey, Luke Bryan, Simple Minds, the Beach Boys, Dave Matthews Band, and Nelly with Ja Rule and Eve.

The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park is reaching across the state this summer — and across the country.

The Shadow of the City fest, starring Bleachers, takes place Saturday, June 28, at the Summer Stage with Joyce Manor, Dora Jar, Mike Birbiglia, Ben Kweller, Skullcrusher, and Cassandra Coleman also on the bill. (For the first time there's a Shadow of the City West with Bleachers on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Great Park in Irvine, California. Remi Wolf, the Maine, Helmocke Springs, Bartees Strange, Chris Fleming, and Cassandra Coleman are also on the bill there.)

The rock band Bleachers is fronted by Jack Antonoff of Colts Neck, who knows a person or two in the recording industry. Bruce Springsteen guested on the Bleachers song "Chinatown," and Antonoff has produced multiple hits for Taylor Swift.

Beyonce performs during the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show Feb. 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

Swift attended Antonoff's wedding to actress Margaret Qualley on Long Beach Island in 2023.

The Shadow of the City fest was founded by Antonoff in 2015 as a homage to Jersey kids, in the shadow of New York City, who dream of making it big.

“I played some of my first shows at the Stone Pony,” said Antonoff previously to the Asbury Park Press. “The first time I played here it wasn't like a great show or anything. There was probably very few people in the audience. But it was fine with me because I just could not believe I was playing here.”

The Shadow of the City at the Pony is part of the North to Shore festival, which takes place June 14 to 29, in Asbury Park, Newark and Atlantic City.

Other North to Shore shows at the Pony Summer Stage are Jack's Mannequin on Thursday, June 26; Streetlight Manifesto, Friday, June 27; and George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic with Living Colour on Sunday, June 29.

The season at the PNC Bank Arts Center begins Saturday, May 17, with the Sessanta V 2.0 hard rock tour featuring Primus, Puscifer and A Perfect Circle. Concerts start at MetLife Stadium in East Rutheford with the Kendrick Lamar and SZA tour coming in for shows on May 8 and 9.

Who’s playing the most at MetLife? Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter tour comes in for five shows from May 22 to 29.

Check out this year's concerts at Jersey's big open-air concert venues. Shows may be added during the season.
