UK hot weather maps show how warm your town will be this weekend as 19C hits
The UK is set for a warm weekend, with temperatures soaring to 19C and sunshine sweeping across the country.
The UK is set to experience a much-needed burst of warm weather this weekend, with temperatures expected to climb to double digits in parts of the country. A weather map from the Met Office suggests temperatures may reach 19C tomorrow afternoon. Similarly, latest weather maps generated on April 4 by WXCharts using Met Desk data, and Net Weather, reveal a surge of warm air sweeping across the nation, bringing widespread sunshine and high temperatures for early April. After a period of unsettled conditions, many will welcome the return of sunshine and milder days, making this weekend an ideal time for outdoor activities.
The maps indicate that the warmest temperatures will be felt across southern and southeastern England, with areas such as London, Kent, and Essex likely to reach the high teens. Other parts of England, including the Midlands and East Anglia, will also enjoy mild and dry conditions, with highs ranging between 13 and 17C.
Further north, temperatures will be slightly lower, but cities like Manchester and Leeds could still see pleasant conditions in the mid to high teens, according to the maps.
Wales and the Southwest are also set to benefit from the warm spell, according to the forecasts, with highs of up to 17C, while Scotland and Northern Ireland will experience slightly cooler but still comfortable conditions, with double digit temperatures reported on maps.
The reason behind this sudden rise in temperatures is the arrival of a warm air mass moving up from southern Europe.
Saturday and Sunday are expected to be the warmest days, with many regions seeing extended periods of sunshine and light winds.

In its forecast for the next few days, the Met Office agrees plenty of sunshine is to come for many parts of the UK. Its forecast for Saturday reads: "Low cloud lingering across some northeastern areas, where feeling chilly. Elsewhere a dry and settled day with unbroken sunshine. Warm in the sunshine, though a cooling easterly breeze in places."
Its outlook for the days between Sunday and Tuesday read: "High pressure will maintain generally fine weather with plenty of warm sunshine during the day. Often cooler near to North Sea coasts though, and some chilly nights with patchy frost."
For those eager to make the most of the sunshine, this weekend provides the perfect opportunity. Whether it's a trip to the coast, a countryside walk, or simply relaxing in the garden, the warm temperatures and clear skies make for ideal outdoor conditions.
