Ambassador of Belarus I.Marshalau presents his Credentials to the President of Zambia

On April 2, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Republic of Zambia concurrently, Ihar Marshalau, presented his Credentials to the President of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema.
The parties outlined the need to intensify cooperation between Belarus and Zambia in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. The Ambassador stressed the attention on Belarus' existing competencies in agriculture, industrial cooperation, healthcare, education, and the elimination and prevention of natural and man-made disasters.
H.Hichilema expressed the interest in Belarusian participation in the mechanization of agriculture in Zambia, as well as in the creation and reconstruction of infrastructure and the extraction of natural resources.
