All the categories have one- or two-day options. The Bleachers ticket is new this year and, according to the promoters, includes “entry to Seaside Park and access to all GA+ and GA amenities, plus bucket seating with prime views of the Main Stage. Seating is unassigned and first-come, first-served, and please note that the Main Stage Bleachers are not shaded.”
The festival is offering layaway plans for ticket purchases. Eligible Bridgeport residents can receive a 15% discount on tickets while available.
Seaside Park was known for many years as the site of the Gathering of the Vibes festivals, which had an affinity for the sounds and culture of the Grateful Dead. The Soundside Festival is in some ways more stylistically diverse but also more pop-driven, bringing in major contemporary acts currently on the charts.
Last year’s festival had to deal with last-minute changes when one of the headliners, Foo Fighters, canceled their appearance just days before Soundside began. The festival was able to add two other major national acts, Jack White and Greta Van Fleet to make up the loss of Foo Fighters.
