Fond du Lac County crash injures four, including a child, 4, who suffered serious injuries
The crash was reported at around 6:15 p.m. Sunday on County G near County GG.

- A two-vehicle head-on crash occurred in town of Marshfield and resulted in serious injuries to a 4-year-old child.
- The crash transpired when a southbound vehicle, driven by a 26-year-old Illinois woman, crossed the centerline and collided with a northbound vehicle.
- The child sustained a significant head injury and was transported to Children's Hospital of Milwaukee, while the adults involved suffered minor injuries.
- The driver of the southbound vehicle received citations for operating a vehicle left of center causing injury and for a child restraint violation.
MARSHFIELD – A 4-year-old child is seriously injured after a March 30 crash in the town of Marshfield in Fond du Lac County.
At about 6:15 p.m. Sunday, Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a two-vehicle, head-on crash on County G near County GG.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to the scene alongside St. Cloud Fire Department and Mt. Calvary EMS.
Investigation revealed a southbound vehicle on County G crossed the center line during a curve and struck a northbound vehicle.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was a 26-year-old Illinois woman who sustained minor injuries. Her 4-year-old child in the back seat was transported to Children's Hospital of Milwaukee for a significant head injury.
The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 51-year-old man, and the passenger, a 50-year-old woman — both from St. Cloud — also sustained minor injuries. All three adults were treated at SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
County G was shut down for about two-and-a-half hours as emergency vehicles responded.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate. The Illinois woman was cited for operating a vehicle left of center causing injury and for operating a motor vehicle with a child aged 4-8 years old not in a proper restraint seat.
St. Cloud First Responders, Mt. Calvary Fire Department and a City of Fond du Lac Ambulance also assisted.
