A popular festival celebrating female and underrepresented gender talent in the music industry is returning to Plymouth this year. We Are Here Festival will be back this May, bringing an 'explosive line-up' of well-known actos to the stage.
Thanks to support from Arts Council England, this year’s festival promises to be the 'biggest and most exciting yet.' The 2025 line-up includes performances from some of the UK’s best-known acts, alongside emerging talent from Plymouth and beyond.
Organiser say: "We’re all about energy, empowerment, and celebration. This is the space where artists who are often overlooked get to shine, and we can’t wait to give them the stage they deserve. Don’t miss performances by Pussy Liqour, Oh the Guilt, The Cosmic Something, Tiger Empress, and many more."
The festival will take place on May 3, at Leadworks, Stonehouse. Doors at 2pm.
This year’s festival is packed with electrifying performances from artists including:
- Pussy Liqour – Brighton: Pure Uncensored female rage, putting the amp in tampon, raising estrogen levels wherever they go.
- Oh the Guilt – Bristol: Proudly queer, proudly trans. Dream punk band from Bristol
- The Cosmic Something – London: Neurodivergent, queer, outsider, alt, rock
- Tiger Empress – 3 weirdos from Cornwall. Expect chainsaw riffs, fuzz - soaked bass and big beats.
- The Dollies – Female fronted punk band based in Cornwall producing mega tracks for anarchist ears
- Varicosa – Like Mike Patton but a Nudibranch
- Seizure Salad – Riot Grrrl Tom Foolery
- No Feathers – Alt pop three piece just doing their best
