Wet Leg debut seven new songs at comeback show in Brighton

Wet Leg returned to the stage in Brighton for an intimate performance on March 23rd, playing seven new songs during an 11-track set.

Last week, Wet Leg announced their comeback by posting a picture of themselves on Instagram and X on March 17th along with the words: “We’re so back“. They also shared snippets of new music on social media and directed fans to a newly designed website which encourages visitors to sign up.

Upon entering their website, a vintage pop-up message reads: “Salutations, lonely heart. You have wandered far, but you are home now. Enter Moisturizer Valley – where the skin never cracks, and the body never withers. Enroll now. Learn how to live forever.”

The group then announced two intimate shows in America with Wet Leg set to perform in New York on March 31st and Los Angeles on April 8th.

On March 23rd, they announced two last-minute shows in the UK. They played at Brighton’s Green Door last night which marked their first concert since last August, and will also perform at the Moth Club in London on March 24th.

For the two shows, Wet Leg are billed under the pseudonym Uma Thurman, and in Brighton, their set largely relied on unreleased new songs.

According to Setlist FM, Wet Leg opened with the previously unheard ‘Fids’, they also premiered ‘Jen Bod’, ‘Lovestruck’, ‘Dave Nah’, ‘Dragonfart’, ‘Beans’ and ‘C3PR’. They also aired ‘Angellica’, ‘Too Late Now’ and ‘Being In Love’ from their debut record.

This summer, they are set for a variety of festivals across Europe, including Primavera in Portugal, TRNSMT in Glasgow, Rock Werchter in Belgium, and the Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire.
