Utah travel vlogger Elise Caffee dies after tragic car crash in Mexico

A family travel influencer in Utah has died after being in a car accident in Mexico.

Elise Caffee frequently posted travel videos with her and her family on Instagram, and now many are grieving her loss.

Blue ribbons line the neighborhoods near where the Caffee’s lived. It is no secret that Elise was loved.

She was described as kind and welcoming.

In an Instagram post it is said that Elise fought long and hard. “Absolutely everything that could have been done for her was done and we are so grateful she was able to make it back home to say good bye to her family before leaving us,” she said.

According to a GoFundMe page, Elise and her husband Dan Caffee were in Cancun with a driver when they were involved in a pileup crash on March 6th.

Elise was flown to the University of Utah burn unit where she later died it was announced Thursday.

Her husband survived the crash. The driver of their car also died.

A GoFundMe page was created to support the driver in Mexico who provided for his wife and kids.

“We are asking you to take the love and generosity that you feel towards our family during this time of crisis, and direct it to helping our friends in Mexico who have also been impacted by this horrible accident,” the GoFundMe stated.
