Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Alabama headline new Panama City Beach music festival

Organizers of a new music festival in Panama City Beach aren’t fooling around.

The first-ever Kickoff Jam, set for Aug. 30-Sept. 1, announced its headliners Wednesday and there’s a few names you might be familiar with.

Garth Brooks; Carrie Underwood; Alabama; Randy Travis; Oak Ridge Boys; Pam Tillis; Randy Houser; Lauren Alaina -- with several more scheduled to perform during the three-day event.

“If you’re me and you only get to do one outdoor gig a year -- Panama City Beach, are you kidding me?” Brooks says in a video posted to the event website. “This should be country music at its best at the best location.”

But with that many big names come big prices.

Three-day general admission tickets start at $299 and it just goes up from there. Other tickets available include:

  • 3-day general admission preferred: start at $799 and includes $20 per day food credit and access to a preferred viewing area
  • VIP: start at $1,399 and includes a $40 per day food credit; access to the preferred viewing area; an event t-shirt and access to VIP air-conditioned bathrooms
  • Super VIP: start at $1,899, with access to the VIP section (standing only); or the preferred general admission viewing area; a $60 per day food credit; VIP restrooms and a t-shirt.
  • Side stage: start at $2,999. These include access to a two-story viewing deck which includes general admission; preferred general admission; VIP and Super VIP sections; a $75 per day food credit; VIP restrooms and access to the security lane at the stage
  • Skybox tables: start at $25,000. Access to the side stage area, super VIP, VIP pit and crossover walkway. VIP restroom access; cocktail service; six drinks per seat and heavy hors d’oeuvres; and two VIP parking passes.

Or, if your company is feeling generous, they can pony up a minimum of $65,750 for a hospitality suite, which is a 20x20 tent with a banner displaying your logo of choice. There’s access to a buffet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and appetizers from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., as well as an open bar with a bartender provided.

There are 30 chairs per suite, cabana seating, two TVs, a security guard, access to the security lane at the stage, three parking spots behind the stage, with 30 super VIP or VIP pit passes included.

Tickets go on sale April 24 at 10 a.m.
